The effect of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) on salt tolerance in rice cv. ‘KDML 105’ showed that pre-treated with low concentration of H2O2 before NaCl treatment was more tolerate than that of control. The shoot length, fresh weight and dry weight of pre-treated rice with 3 ppm H2O2 before treated with 200 mM NaCl was significantly higher than that of control. In addition, the amount of malondialdehyde (MDA) which is one kind of the oxidative stress indicators in pre-treated rice was significantly lower than
that of control.
