การสำรวจไบรโอไฟต์บริเวณน้ำตกเจ้าพะ เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าเขาบรรทัดจังหวัดตรังดำเนินการศึกษาตั้งแต่เดือนตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2555 ถึงเดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2556 เก็บตัวอย่างได้ทั้งสิ้น 255 หมายเลข จัดจำแนกได้ 114 ชนิด 54 สกุล 20 วงศ์ ในจำนวนนี้จัดเป็นมอสส 61 ชนิด และลิเวอร์เวิรต์ 53 ชนิด (ทัลลอยด์ลิเวอร์เวิร์ต 2 ชนิด และลิฟฟี่ลิเวอร์เวิร์ต 51 ชนิด) ไบรโอไฟต์ที่พบส่วนใหญ่เป็นพืชอิงอาศัยพบจำนวนน้อยที่เจริญบนพื้นดินหรือก้อนหิน ในแง่ของจำนวนชนิด วงศ์ Lejeuneaceae พบจำนวนชนิดมากที่สุดถึง 34 ชนิด ใน14 สกุล รองลงมาคือวงศ์ Calymperaceae พบจำนวน 16 ชนิด ใน 6 สกุล ในขณะที่วงศ์ Fissidentaceae, Neckeraceae และ Radulaceae พบวงศ์ละ 8 ชนิด ในจำนวนนี้เป็นชนิดที่ไม่เคยมีรายงานการพบมาก่อนในประเทศไทย 8 ชนิด ได้แก่ Calymperes robinsonii B.C. Tan & W.D.Reese, C. strictifolium (Mitt.) G.Roth, Calyptothecium dixonii Gangulee, Hyophila rosea Williams, Lejeunea exilis (Reinw., Blume & Nees) Grolle, L. papilionacea Steph., Mitthyridium jungquilianum (Mitt.)H. Rob. และ Trichostomum cuspidatum (Dozy & Molk.) Dozy & Molk. จากการศึกษาพบรูปแบบการเจริญของไบรโอไฟต์ทั้งหมด 6 รูปแบบโดยรูปแบบแมตพบมากที่สุด 51 ชนิด
A survey of bryophytes at Chao Pa waterfall, Khao Ban Tad Wildlife Sanctuary, Trang province, was conducted from October 2012 to December 2013. A total of 255 were collected and 114 species were identified, belonging to 54 genera,20 families. Among these 61 species are mosses and 53 species are liverworts (including two species of thalloid liverworts and 51 species of leafy liverworts). Most of them are epiphytes and some are either terrestrial or litophytes. The most common families are Lejeuneaceae, represented by 34 species in 14 genera, followed by Calymperaceae included 16 species in six genera whilst Fissidentaceae, Neckeraceae and Radulaceae are each composed of eight species. In addition, eight species are new records for Thailand viz. Calymperes robinsonii B.C.Tan & W.D. Reese, C. strictifolium (Mitt.) G. Roth, Calyptothecium dixonii Gangulee, Hyophilarosea Williams, Lejeunea exilis (Reinw., Blume & Nees) Grolle, L. papilionacea Steph., Mitthyridium jungquilianum (Mitt.) H. Rob. and Trichostomum cuspidatum (Dozy & Molk.) Dozy & Molk. Six life forms were found. The most common type is mat (51 species).
