Six species of Strobilanthes Blume with paniculate inflorescence are enumerated for Thai Flora namely S. microcarpa T. Anderson, S. pedunculosa Miq., S.peninsularis Terao, S. tenuifl ora J.R.I. Wood, S. trichantha J.R.I. Wood and S. violifolia T. Anderson. Certainly, S. pedunculosais a new record from Thailand. The distribution, ecology and phenology of each species are provided. A key to the species, vernacular names as well as taxonomic notes are presented.
