While preparing a treatment of the genus Spatholobus for the Flora of Thailand, two species, S. latibractea and S. maingayi, that were previously not recorded for Thailand, have appeared. Here we provide descriptions and illustrations of them. Lectotypes are designated for S. philippinensis and S. strigillifer.
