ศึกษาความหลากหลายและการกระจายพันธุ์ของมอสส์สกุลข้าวตอกฤๅษีในเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าภูหลวง จังหวัดเลย โดยสำรวจและศึกษาตั้งแต่เดือนพฤษภาคมถึงเดือนกันยายน พ.ศ. 2553 เก็บตัวอย่างพรรณไม้ทั้งสิ้น 20 จุด ใน 4 เส้นทาง ที่ระดับความสูงจากระดับน้ำทะเล 1,200–1,500 เมตร พบมอสส์สกุลข้าวตอกฤๅษี 4 ชนิด คือ Sphagnum cf. cuspidatum Ehrh. exHoffm., S. cf. junghuhnianum Dozy& Molk., S. perichaetiale Hampe. และ Sphagnumsp. โดย S. cf. cuspidatum มีการกระจายพันธุ์มากที่สุดทั้งด้านพื้นที่และปริมาณ รองลงมาเป็น S. cf. junghuhnianum และ Sphagnum sp. ซึ่งพบน้อยกว่าตามลำดับ โดยที่ S. perichaetiale มีการกระจายพันธุ์น้อยที่สุด คือ พบที่ริมธารน้ำบริเวณแปกดำเพียงหนึ่งแปลงเท่านั้น นอกจากนี้พบระยะสปอโรไฟต์ของS. cf. cuspidatumซึ่งถือเป็นการรายงานครั้งแรกที่พบระยะนี้ในประเทศไทย
Theaim of this study was to investigate the diversity and distribution of thegenus Sphagnum L. inPhuluang Wildlife Sanctuary, Loei province. This study was conducted from Mayto September 2010. Field exploration and specimen collection were made in 20sampling areasalong four routes at 1,200–1,500 m above the sea level. Four taxa were examinedthat consistof Sphagnum cf. cuspidatum Ehrh. ex Hoffm., S. cf.junghuhnianum Dozy & Molk., S. erichaetiale Hampe.and Sphagnum sp. The highest number of sampling area and area distributionwere S. cf. cuspidatum while S. cf. junghuhnianum andSphagnum sp. were found lessthan S. cf. cuspidatum, respectively. The lowest number of sampling area was S. perichaetiale whichwas found only one sampling area at Pak Dum area near by the stream. Furthermore, in this study, sporophyte of S. cf. cuspidatum wasfound that was the first reportin Thailand.
