Current studies by the author on some genera of the family Rubiaceae in Thailand, have brought to light the need to lectotypify a synonym (Ixora debilis) and a new synonym (Duperrea scabrida) of Duperrea pavettifolia. Ecological and distribution data, description, specimens examined and also a photograph are presented.
