ศึกษาความหลากชนิดของพืชวงศ์กก(Cyperaceae) และวงศ์หญ้า (Poaceae) ในสถานีวิจัยสิ่งแวดล้อมสะแกราช จังหวัดนครราชสีมาโดยสำรวจและเก็บตัวอย่างพรรณไม้ตามเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติ รวมถึงบริเวณพื้นที่ป่าปลูกทดแทนในระหว่างเดือนกันยายนพ.ศ. 2557 ถึงเดือนกันยายน พ.ศ. 2558 ผลการศึกษาพบว่าสังคมพืชส่วนใหญ่เป็นป่าเต็งรังและป่าดิบแล้ง นอกจากนี้ยังมีพื้นที่ป่าปลูกทดแทนอีกด้วย พบพืชวงศ์กก 6 สกุล 13 ชนิด สกุลที่พบจำนวนชนิดมากที่สุด คือสกุล Cyperus และสกุล Scleria สกุลละ 3 ชนิด พบพืชวงศ์หญ้าจำนวน 33 สกุล 57 ชนิด สกุลที่พบจำนวนชนิดมากที่สุด คือสกุล Digitaria 8 ชนิด รองลงมาคือสกุล Brachiaria 5 ชนิด พบชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่นที่รุกรานแล้วในพื้นที่ศึกษา 2 ชนิด ได้แก่ หญ้าคา (Imperata cylindrica (L.)Raeusch.) และหญ้าขจรจบ (Pennisetum polystachion (L.)Schult.)

     Thespecies diversity of sedges (Cyperaceae) and grasses (Poaceae) in Sakaerat EnvironmentalResearch Station, Nakhon Ratchasima province was studied. Field surveys and plantcollections were conducted between September 2014 and September 2015. Theresults reveal that dry dipterocarp and dry evergreen forests are thedominant-plant community in the study area. Moreover, there also has there-plantation forest. Six genera and 13 species of sedges are enumerated. Themost diverse genera are Cyperus and Scleria comprising threespecies each. Thirty-three genera and 57 species of Poaceae are found in thearea and the genus Digitaria isthe highest number of species composing of eight species which is followed bythe genus Brachiaria with five species. Two invasive alien species, Imperatacylindrica (L.) Raeusch. and Pennisetumpolystachion (L.)Schult., are observed in study area.
