การสำรวจและเก็บตัวอย่างพืชวงศ์ผักปลาบในอุทยานแห่งชาติดอยหลวงจังหวัดเชียงรายได้ดำเนินการตั้งแต่เดือนพฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2562 ถึงเดือนมีนาคม พ.ศ. 2563 โดยแบ่งเส้นทางสำรวจออกเป็น 3 เส้นทาง ได้แก่ เส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาตินํ้าตกปูแกงเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาตินํ้าตกจำปาทอง และเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติดอยหลวง-ดอยหนอก ถ่ายภาพภาคสนาม บันทึกข้อมูลนิเวศวิทยา ช่วงเวลาการออกดอกและเวลาที่ดอกบาน ตรวจสอบชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์และสร้างรูปวิธานระบุชนิด โดยอาศัยลักษณะทางสัณฐานวิทยาแล้วจัดทำตัวอย่างพรรณไม้แห้งเก็บไว้ที่พิพิธภัณฑ์พืชสาขาวิชาชีววิทยา คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา และหอพรรณไม้ กรมอุทยานแห่งชาติ สัตว์ป่าและพันธุ์พืช ผลการศึกษาพบพืชวงศ์ผักปลาบจำนวน 10 สกุล 17 ชนิด โดยมี 1 ชนิด ที่ไม่สามารถระบุชนิดได้ คือ Commelina sp. สกุลที่มีความหลากหลายมากที่สุด คือ สกุล Commelina พบจำนวน 5 ชนิด ชนิดที่พบมากที่สุดในพื้นที่ ได้แก่ Amischotolype divaricata Duist. และ Commelinabenghalensis L. ซึ่งชนิดหลังมีการกำหนดสถานภาพการอนุรักษ์ว่าเป็นชนิดที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อการสูญพันธุ์ตํ่า ส่วนชนิดที่เป็นพืชต่างถิ่นรุกรานในพื้นที่ คือ Tradescantia zebrina Bosse

     Exploration and specimen collections of Commelinaceae in Doi Luang National Park, Chiang Rai province were conducted between May 2019 and March 2020. Field works were performed in three nature trails; namely Pu Kaeng waterfall, Champa Thong waterfall and Doi Luang-Doi Nok nature trails. Photographs, ecological data, flowering and blooming periods of each species were also provided. Specimens were carefully identified and prepared for depositing at herbarium, Department of Biology, School of Science, University of Phayao and the Forest Herbarium, Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (BKF). Their morphological characteristics were used to construct the key to species. Ten genera with 17 species are enumerated including an unidentified species, Commelina sp. The highest species number is found in the genus Commelina comprising five species. The most common species are Amischotolype divaricata Duist. and Commelina benghalensis L. The latter species has been determined the conservation status as LC-Least Concern. Moreover, Tradescantia zebrina Bosse is an invasive species in the area.
