Three new records of Acanthaceae from Laos are reported, namely Justicia patentiflora Hemsl., Rungia oligoneura (J. B. Imlay) B. Hansen and Strobilanthes fluviatilis (C. B. Clarke ex W. W. Sm.) Moylan & Y. F. Deng. Descriptions, photographs and diagnostic characters for the species are provided.
