Taxonomic study of genus Uraria Desv. (Leguminosae-Papilionoideae) in Thailand is revised. Fifteen species are recognised. Uraria acaulis Schindl., U. Campanulate (Benth.) Gagnep., U. cochinchinensis Schindl., U. cordifolia Wall., U. oblonga (Wall. ex Benth.) H. Ohashi & K. Ohashi and U. rotundata Craib are lectotypified and U. pierrei Schindl. is reduced to be a synonym of U. rotundata. A key to the species, generic description, distributional and ecological data and specimens examined are presented.
